Being a parent can feel like the toughest job in the world at times. The feelings of self doubt, guilt, and the thought of 'am I doing a good job' can feel all consuming. 

I have worked with parents for over a decade in schools supporting them in their parental roles and the challenges they may face with their children. In doing so we work to create healthy boundaries, routines, and expectations to not only help create a balanced home, but a balanced you too.

Becoming a parent can be one of the most exciting times but it can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and maybe scary with all the sudden changes and expectations. This is completely understandable.

Perinatal counseling provides support for those who may be struggling on their pregnancy journey or parent adjustment to their new role post partum. You may be experiencing feelings of depression, anxiety,  post traumatic stress, or grief and not know how to begin to work through them. This can feel very isolating. I will support you each step of the way; remind you it is okay to feel however you are feeling. We will work together to get you to a place where as you continue your journey as a parent you will feel more confident to handle all the ups and downs parenting brings.
